The End Time

However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"  Luke 18:8

What happen today if you take survey of young people in USA about marriage: 
Whether one should get married to be living together as husband and wife? 
Is Sex before and outside of marriage sin? 
I think most of the people will say what are you talking about? For some people will say I have heard about this, but I don't really think it is sin.

Another example: 30 years ago same sex marriage was not only unacceptable it was consider sin (and it is) but now people started accepting that and even some people think there is nothing wrong in it.

Our culture is changing and the belief about different religion and Christianity is changing too. As you can see satan is changing people’s mind so rapidly. People are saying there is no absolute truth. Look at all those political leaders acting now. Before they used to openly confess what they believe in but now they are not saying it. Why because it might hurt someone’s feeling. In today’s very liberal society you cannot find absolute truth. Bible says  there is absolute truth. Jesus says: I am the truth. John 14:6

There are so many things happening right now around the world like earthquakes, flooding, missing people, volcano eruptions and tornadoes. Those are natural things. And look at what is happening at the political level. Russia is getting stronger, Israel is losing ground against hamas, and China’s economy is going down. Political power in any of the European countries are all short terms. Among all France is gaining some ground. North Korea is threatening everyone with its missiles. 
In the past people used to get scared about knowing all these kind of news. But now they are all busy with their own stuff. We have news in our hand 24 X 7 but the effectiveness of the news is gone. 
Have you ever wonder is there any future effect of the global changes? Are all this political power shift make any sense? Why all of a sudden increase in the natural disasters?

Bible says keep your eyes and ears open, Analyze what you see and hear with the word of God. Mark 13:24-27 says: " But in those days, following that distress" ' the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; The stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will shaken"
Is going to happen, and people will see it. Most importantly keep your faith in one and only true God. 

Bible says Jesus is the only way and truth and life. Come to Him and LIVE.

Royal Priesthood

I Peter 2:5, 9-10

You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

We are Royal Priesthood yes it is a wonderful thing and we should be proud of that. We can walk with pride because we are Christians- God’s chosen people.

But at the same time we have a responsibility. We cannot just sit down and do nothing. We have big responsibility. We are Christians- chosen people and so we have to live like Jesus has told us to live. – Forgive one another, love one another, tell everybody about the Goodnews. Different  issues like abortion and gay marriage are the by product. Our lifestyle should be an example to others. Christians should be recognized by their works. Today people know us because of “the issues” rather than our loving and caring nature. In verse 5 God’s word shows us: “for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” We have to do spiritual sacrifices. We cannot escape that responsibility.

Yes we have to be proud but at the same time let us not forget the responsibility that comes with it.

May Lord show us again that we are Royal Priesthood, His chosen people so we can start live like that.

Stand Firm

When Jesus was on earth He healed many sick people, He did lot of good works, He preached, and He taught. He lived a perfect life. But He also spent good time with His disciples teaching them about the “Godly life”. He not only taught He lived. He told His disciples “If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love John 15:10, and what is His commandment? “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you” John 15:12. How He loved? He gave it all. He gave His life. That kind of love. Even in “John 14: 21 He says: Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them. He taught His disciple and He showed it to everybody. When one of the pundit of the law ask His what is the greatest commandment? His reply was every accurate. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself Matthew 22: 37-39.

In today’s world though it is completely deferent. People have murdered the real definition of the “Love” And as the apostle Paul writes: The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ. II Corinthians 4: 4. They have lost the real meaning of “Love”. They will accept everything and everybody for “Love” But they do not want to understand the “Love of God”. Even though there are so many things that God has provide that people can understand but they don’t want to listen, they don’t want to see, they don’t want to understand. They are saying: I am loving it the way it is right now. If my life goes on smoothly, I don’t care what other people are doing. Let them marry whoever they want to. Let them kill whoever they want to, let them enjoy whichever way they want to.

But I am urging you all my fellow brothers and sisters who call themselves as “Disciples of God”.  I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling Ephesians 4:1. Do not be afraid. Do not be ashamed. Do not be worried. Do not be confused. Our Lord Jesus has said: If you obey my commandment you are my friend.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. I Peter 5:8. Again I am urging you: Live the life of “Disciples of God”

May our Almighty Lord give you strength to “Stand firm”.

Rise and Shine

In the midst of so many negative things around us in the country. We as a "Children of God" felt that we are alone, neglected, rejected, minority people. But the fact is; we are not alone. God told Elijah: Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel--all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him 1 Kings 19:18. We are not alone. The word of God said if we have God with us we are more than conqueror. So let us get up and shine. Shine for the glory of our God.

Rise and Shine if you:

1. Believe Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior
2. Believe Bible is the true word of God.
3. Believe that as promised Jesus Christ will come back to take her bride home.
4. Believe that reading and meditating the word of God is very important.
5. Believe that God answer our prayers and prayer is the communication between God and you.
6. Believe that parents must teach their children how to live Godly life.
7. Believe that as 5th commandment states; children must obey and respect their parents.
8. Believe that marriage is between a man and a woman.
9. Believe that homosexuality is crime against God's design of a family.
10. Believe that as a child of God I am responsible to show Godly character to everyone around me.

So next time if you hear or read any negative news. Be strong because our almighty God is with us. And remember " Rise and Shine"

Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God

One of the greatest missionary William Cary has ones said:” Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God”

In Jesus Christ our Lord we want to do great things. But we all know that great things does not happen in a day. It takes time and efforts. Just like the crop in the farm. It takes lot of efforts, time and energy before farmer take the crop home. The runner in 100 meter race gets Gold medal in Olympics. But he or she has to do lot of hard work and practice before that happen. We also want to do something for our Lord. Paul tells Corinthians in I Cor 9:24-26 “Run in such a way as to get the prize”

We all know that our country need Jesus. We know that people are going away from Jesus. We know our children are growing up in a very ungodly atmosphere. The schools don’t want to talk about “God”. And if someone talk about their faith in public places, then he is being sued. Like we are living in a country where “Jesus’ name” is prohibited or crime.

What can we do? Can we just sit down and wait for whatever happen? Can we just sit down and do nothing?

Remember the early church. When Jesus was taken to heaven what were all the disciple and other followers doing?  Acts 1: 12-14. They were patient and they were praying. Then Holly Spirit came and thousands of people came to Christ. The church begin to grow. Even though there were persecution but it did not stop the church to grow. Today we are in time we have to do just that. Let us be patient and pray. Because when we pray:

·         We are showing everybody that we are one in Christ.

·         We are showing our faith in Jesus Christ alone and not any one or any thing.

·         We are waiting for God to work ( no matter how long it takes)

·         We are giving mental and spiritual strength to other believers.

Our God is an awesome God and when He works no one has the power to stop it. Let us continue to pray and let us keep faith that He will bring this country back to Him.

 

 

 

 

Come back America

“ A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His Holy dwelling” Psalm 68:5

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27

And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them. Acts 4:32

Have you read the news about children dying in hot car? Have you watch news about thousands of immigrant children waiting on the boarders? Did you see so many elderly people crying for their medication? 

It has been happening more and more that political parties are thinking about “vote” and “election” more than people and america. I believe we have lost our senses who we are and what is our responsibility. Politician has become so much “vote oriented” that they don’t think about people anymore. If democrats are working for hispanic people, republicans will oppose them. If republicans are working for gay marriage issue, democrats will oppose them. Take the example of these immigrant children. They have been here since how long. They are away from their family. They are fatherless right now. But everybody is working on this matter to make “some people” happy. Can we not think about some special people group and help these kids to be with their family? Remember Bible says God is with them. 

Where is the compassion of the American people gone? We use to help our own and also to the world. Now it is all going away. It is more now whether they are our friend or our enemy.  If I do this thing will it help me elect next year in the election or not. And the bad part in all is that people  doesn’t care. No body is standing up for people. Everybody is just dragging them selves along with everyone. 

Where are all the ministers? Where is the word of God? Where is the message? Spiritual leaders became more of a “positive attitude” preachers. They are becoming “God bless me” preachers. Some of the other leaders are talking about abortion and gay marriage issues. TV and media love those things and so “Christian” people are now recognize on the based of this gay marriage issue. They are not recognized on the based of their faith in Jesus. They are not recognized on the based of their christian life style (which is much more than one or two issues.)

Matthew 6:33 says But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 

People it is the time to come back to Jesus. There are so many more important things to worry about right now. Our Lord’s coming is near and we are not ready at all right now. 

“Come back, come back,come back I cry. O people of God. Come back to Jesus your Savior and Lord;

He is your salvation and your redeemer and there is no other then Him.

Christianity and media

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!

Isaiah heard His voice. And said here am I send me.

There is peace in America. The stock market is going up. The house market is going up. The value of the US Dollar is going up. There are no political crises anymore. Everything is fine.

But is this a real picture? Are we as Christians look things this way? Is prosperity a litmus test for the spirituality? Bible says:

 ^“While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman” 1 Thessalonians 5:3

Wake up and be alert. Our enemy satan is very deceiving. He doesn’t want us to be awake and he wants all God’s people to fall in his trap. Look around and keep your eyes and ears open. Government is not the source of God’s awakening. It never has been. Today’s politicians are trying to make us think that changing gay marriage law is Christianity, or stopping abortion is Christianity. It may be the side product of it but real Christianity is following Jesus. Real Christianity is making disciple, real Christianity is telling others about the good news.

So make that decision today. Our dear Lord is still seated on the throne and He is asking” Whom shall I send? Who will go for me? Are you ready to say yes to Him like Isaiah did? Like Peter and all the disciples did.

Go and tell others about the real Jesus Christ not what the media is teaching them. Live your life like true Christ follower. And yes tell them to be awake and alert because He is coming very soon.
